InfoConnect Hub is a lightweight, scalable, easy to implement server, delivered as a pre-built AMI, that helps surfacing IBM i business logic as standards based REST API, and enables bi-directional event streaming and data replication use cases with little to no custom development required.
Example use cases and how the product can be used
- Automate user actions to add new account or update account details via API call
- Provide a REST API that shows stock balances, estimated delivery dates, and other availability and fulfilment details for various commerce channels
- Detect and send order fulfillment status changes from an IBM i based ERP or WMS system to a CRM, e-commerce, or third-party partner system
- Send customer details from an IBM i based solution to an external customer data platform

- Call IBM i (AS400) Program, Service Program, or system command
- Listen for IBM i Data Queue messages and place them to GCP Pub/Sub, Kafka, or other supported messaging platforms
- Read single message from or write single message to IBM i Data Queue
